We have been home from vacation for a couple of days now, we ran into some mechanical trouble with the car on the way from indiana to north carolina so we ended up not going to north carolia this year, hopefully we can go back sometime because i would really like to shoot the waterfalls and rapids in the great smoky mountains national park. while we were in indiana dad and i would drive around in the country looking for cool things to photograph, the photo above is the result of one of those trips. We were driving and saw a large rock pile that the DOT uses to resurface the gravel roads in the area. so we pulled off and i went up the pile to see what it looked like. then i went back down to the car, got my camera went back up and took this.
